Meet Our Founders
Tola
Professional – Tola is a HR Director for a large multinational company in the energy industry. She is an experienced HR Executive and an experienced Engineer. Tola holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, a master’s degree in Organizational Performance, a degree in Psychology and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development U.K.
Tola has extensive governance experience, covering multiple sectors through non-executive roles in several organisations. She sits on the board of a University in U.K. and is an affiliate of the University of Surrey where she serves as a guest lecturer for the international business and human resource courses at the business school. She is a long-standing member of the scholarship board for the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), the largest member organization of oil and gas professionals worldwide.
Personal – Tola is happily married and aspires to be a virtuous woman, who’s worth is far above rubies. She is passionate about walking with others on a similar journey. She is the founder of KàdàràBrite a charity that sponsors the education of underprivileged children in Africa and leverages her network in the U.K. Higher Education sector to connect KàdàràBrite scholars to meaningful opportunities. Tola also sits on the board of Heritage Outreach, a U.K. based charity with operations in Africa.
Ronke
Professional – Dr Ronke Akerele is a leader and seasoned professional in the healthcare sector. She is currently the National Director of Staff Experience and Engagement at NHS England and has served as a Board Executive Director across various NHS Trusts leading culture change, innovation, quality improvement and business transformation functions that has resulted in improved service outcomes for service users and families. Prior to this Ronke spent thirteen years of her career in management consultancy working on roles in strategy execution, information
technology, performance management, change and programme management within the private and public sector organisationsStaff
Ronke is a Council Board Member of Goldsmiths, University of London, Associate Professor at Anglia Ruskin University and an Honorary Lecturer at Imperial College, London. She holds a Doctorate in Organisational Change, executive MBA, MSc in Information Technology, BSc in Economics and has undertaken Executive Education programmes both in London Business School and Harvard Business School.
Personal – Ronke is passionate about empowering people to achieve their unique potentials. A firm believer of improving the lives of underprivileged, she is the founder of Heritage Outreach, a charity registered in the Nigeria and UK to transform the lives of for orphan and vulnerable children. Ronke is married with 2 beautiful children.
